Annie Lennox has had a very busy 10 days, taking in 2 events in London followed by an awards ceremony and performance in Dusseldorf in Germany last night.
Annie attended the annual mother2mothers Winter Fundraiser along with her husband and founder of M2M Mitch Besser where Florence Welch from Florence and The Machine performed.
On December 4th Annie Lennox presented Marco Bizzarri with the winner of the Business Leader award for Gucci, and at The Royal Albert Hall.
Last night in Dusseldorf, Germany, Annie received the Honorary Award from Natalia Woerner during the German Sustainability Award. “Our honorary awardees are icons of social and environmental commitment”, says Stefan Schulze-Hausmann, founder of the award. “They promote the idea of ??sustainability by reaching out to people’s hearts. Among them, Annie Lennox plays an extraordinary role; her commitment and passion are simply unique.” Annie also performed at the event last night where she played Sweet Dreams, There Must Be An Agel and No More I Love You’s.
