After making The Blackbird Diaries album at Blackbird Studios in Nashville with John McBride at the controls I knew I had to go back there to create more chaos on my new album The Ringmaster General.
I called my trusted buddy and co-producer Michael Bradford and warned him we were going back into the vortex armed with nothing but a brand new guitar called (guess what?) “The Blackbird!”
All the appropriate circus rascals were summoned and one by one signed up for the 5 day marathon madness that aptly describes a Dave Stewart solo album session/party.
