Recorded at the Glenn Gould Studio at the CBC as part of the Ultimate Orchestral Performance Workshop, presented by the Own Your Voice Vocal Studio.
Twenty Two students had taken part in this amazing opportunity to be able to put into practice what they have learned by singing a song of their choice (some performed their own originals), backed by an amazingly talented band and a full orchestra. Put together by Own Your Voice owner and voice instructor Ryan Luchuck, part of the proceeds from the tickets sales went on to benefit the Regent Part School of Music in Toronto.
Normand had chosen to sing a cover of the Eurythmics song “There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart)”, which was originally written and recorded by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of Eurythmics in 1985. Many people reading this blog with know Normand is a long time Eurythmics fan and an active member of the Eurythmics community! Congratulations Norm from all of us at Ultimate Eurythmics.
