Annie Lennox’s first single Universal Child from the forthcoming album “A Christmas Cornucopia” has been selected as the only new entry for next weeks Radio 2 A playlist. According to the rules, this means “Universal Child” should be played at least 20 times during prime time programming from November 6th.
Annie’s addition makes an interesting list of artists, looks the 80’s are still in vogue with new singles from OMD and The Pet Shop Boys already on the list.
