Zac Maloy is an acclaimed songwriter, producer, and former lead singer of the alternative rock band The Nixons. Born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma, Zac began his musical journey at a young age, eventually forming The Nixons while attending the University of Oklahoma. The band achieved significant success in the 1990s with hits like “Sister” and “Wire,” earning a dedicated fanbase and touring alongside major acts such as Radiohead and Kiss.
After The Nixons went on hiatus, Zac transitioned into songwriting and producing for other artists. His talent for crafting compelling lyrics and melodies has led to collaborations with a diverse range of musicians, including Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, and Blake Shelton. Notably, he co-wrote Carrie Underwood’s chart-topping single “Temporary Home,” showcasing his ability to connect with audiences across genres.
