Rob Jaczko is a highly respected recording engineer, producer, and educator with a career that spans decades in the music industry. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in 1983, Jaczko majored in audio recording and quickly established himself as a skilled engineer. Early in his career, he worked at Blue Jay Recording Studios in Massachusetts, contributing to projects for artists such as Pat Metheny, The Cars, J. Geils Band, and Aerosmith. This experience laid the foundation for his expertise in high-quality sound production.

Jaczko later joined A&M Studios in Los Angeles, where he worked on major projects, including Don Henley’s The End of the Innocence. His engineering credits also include work with Sheryl Crow, Crowded House, Hall & Oates, and Vinnie Colaiuta, showcasing his versatility across genres. Notably, Jaczko collaborated with Eurythmics on their album We Too Are One, contributing to the technical aspects of its production and helping to shape its polished sound.

In addition to his studio work, Jaczko has made significant contributions to music education. He returned to Berklee College of Music, where he became the chair of the Music Production and Engineering Department. Under his leadership, the department has flourished, providing students with state-of-the-art facilities and a curriculum that emphasizes both technical skills and musical artistry.
