Michael Bradford is a versatile American musician, songwriter, and producer, known for his work across genres such as rock, pop, R&B, and jazz. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Bradford’s career has been shaped by the city’s rich musical heritage, blending influences from Motown to rock.
Primarily recognised as a bass guitarist, Bradford is also skilled in guitar, keyboards, and music production. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Madonna, Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker, and Dave Stewart. Notably, he co-wrote and co-produced Uncle Kracker’s hit song Follow Me, which became a global success. Bradford’s production work often showcases his ability to craft polished yet soulful tracks that resonate with diverse audiences.
In addition to his studio work, Bradford has contributed to film soundtracks and live performances, further demonstrating his adaptability and creative range. He is currently a member of The Felons Club, where he continues to explore new musical directions.
