Here is a brief overview of what Pedestrian is all about -Pedestrian is a Band and Art Project from Los Angeles, created by guitarist/songwriter, Joel Shearer in late 2002 -Pedestrian has nothing to do with walking, being ordinary or people so put those thoughts to rest -Pedestrian is lyrical, poetic, chaotic, dirty, beautiful, loud, dynamic and we like David Bowie, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Nick Drake, The Cure, U2, Nirvana, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley to name a few. -Pedestrian is a revolving door of session and touring musicians who have contributed to the music of Fiona Apple, Gnarles Barkley, Shakira, Alanis Morrisette, Damien Rice, Our Lady Peace, Annie Lennox, Carly Simon, Lindsey Buckingham, John Cale and Richard Thompson to name a few. -Pedestrian does not sound like any of the above. -Pedestrian did not meet on the streets of Philadelphia. -Pedestrian does not believe in war. -Pedestrian has 3 independently released cd’s: Electric EP-2003, Acoustic EP-2003, Ghostly Life-2006 -Pedestrian took a long time to make Ghostly Life because they were on tour with Damien Rice in 2003 and Our Lady Peace in 2005 and because they took time out to record and tour with other artists. -Pedestrian’s Ghostly Life is inspired by art, politics, love, hate, life, loneliness, chaos and good Scotch. -Pedestrian’s Ghostly Life will make you feel better when you are down
