Jihae is a South Korean-born singer, songwriter and actress whose career spans music, film and activism. She released her first album My Heart Is an Elephant in 2007, followed by Illusion of You in 2015, co-produced by Dave Stewart and featuring a co-write with Leonard Cohen. Jihae has performed at the United Nations and the London Olympics, and her music often explores themes of identity and social justice. As an actress, she starred in National Geographic’s Mars, playing twin sisters, and appeared in Mortal Engines and Succession. Jihae is known for her multidisciplinary approach to art, combining music, theatre and visual storytelling.
