Isabelle Pérusat is a French singer, composer and multimedia artist who began her career in the early 1980s. She released several singles in France, including J’ai pas envie que tu reviennes and Circumstance Café, the latter co-written with Dave Stewart of Eurythmics. Pérusat also performed the French theme for the Canadian TV series Matt and Jenny, which aired in France in the early ’80s. After stepping away from the mainstream music industry, she pursued visual and performance art, including the video installation Iceberg Solo, which was exhibited at a contemporary art festival in Venice in 2020. Her work often explores themes of freedom, nature and emotional introspection.
