Grace Bowers is a 19-year-old American guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader whose meteoric rise in the music world has marked her as one of the most exciting young talents of her generation. Born on 30 July 2006 in the Bay Area, California, Grace began playing guitar at the age of nine after being inspired by a YouTube video of Slash from Guns N’ Roses. Her musical journey quickly evolved as she discovered blues legends like B.B. King and funk pioneers such as Sly and the Family Stone, shaping her distinctive blend of blues, rock, and soul.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Grace began livestreaming performances from her bedroom and even her rooftop, building a loyal fanbase through social media. Her raw talent and charismatic stage presence caught the attention of major music figures and media outlets. By 14, she had already signed an endorsement deal with Gibson Guitars, often performing with her signature cherry red Gibson SG.
