Glen Ballard

Glen Ballard for a time shared a studio with Dave Stewart in Los Angeles. He was the producer and keyboard player on Annie Lennox's album Songs Of Mass Destruction. Glen also collaborated with Dave Stewart on the soundtrack for Ghost The Musical.

Ballard has worked with a dizzying array of the finest singers and artists in the business, from Aretha Franklin and George Benson to Michael Jackson and Van Halen. Among the many highlights of his producing/writing/arranging career are the ten times platinum debut of Wilson Phillips, the staggering “Jagged Little Pill” (33 million worldwide) by Alanis Morissette, and multiplatinum No Doubt record “Return of Saturn”. Ballard’s most recent big success involved the Dave Matthews Band multi-platinum “Everyday” which he co-wrote and produced Ballard got his start working as a staff producer / arranger / songwriter for the legendary Quincy Jones, during which time he worked with Teddy Pendergrass, Patti Austin, Jack Wagner and the Pointer Sisters. He has written songs for Michael Jackson (“Man in the Mirror”), Aerosmith, Barbra Streisand, Sheena Easton, Chaka Khan, Curtis Stigers, Shakira, George Strait, Lee Greenwood, K.T. Oslin, Lisa Marie Presley, and many others. He is currently working with the sensational singer Anastacia. Upcoming film projects include a song score (written with Alan Silvestri) for the upcoming Tom Hanks animated feature “The Polar Express”.
