More Information

Gavin Rossdale is best known as the frontman of Bush, one of the most successful British rock bands of the 1990s. Born in London in 1965, Rossdale formed Bush in 1992 with guitarist Nigel Pulsford. Their debut album Sixteen Stone (1994) was a major hit in the US, producing singles like “Glycerine” and “Comedown.” Although Bush had limited chart success in the UK, they became a staple of the American post-grunge scene.
After Bush disbanded in 2002, Rossdale formed the band Institute and later released solo material, including the single “Love Remains the Same.” Bush reunited in 2010 and have since released several albums, including The Sea of Memories and The Art of Survival. Rossdale has also acted in films such as Constantine and Zoolander, and was awarded an Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement in 2013. He remains an enduring figure in alternative rock.
