Ganessa James is a talented singer-songwriter, bassist, and multi-instrumentalist based in New York. With over two decades of experience, she has made her mark in soul, funk, and rock music.
Ganessa began her career in Brooklyn’s independent music scene, playing bass for the funk-rock band blaKbushe. Her exceptional skills led her to tour with renowned artists like Saul Williams and Tamar-Kali.
She is also one half of the duo Onliest, performing harmony-driven duets with her twin sister, Tiffany James. Ganessa’s solo acoustic EP, Believer, showcases her heartfelt songwriting and passion for creating connections through music. Deeply committed to social justice, she uses her art to inspire and advocate for change.
