Brian May was a member of Queen along with Roger Taylor, Freddie Mercury and John Deacon. Along with David Bowie they wrote the Queen song Under Pressure. Annie Lennox took Freddie Mercury’s part in the song when performing at his AIDS tribute concert at Wembley Stadium alongside David Bowie creating a hilight of the event.

Roger Meddows Taylor, born on July 26, 1949, in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, is a multi-talented drummer, songwriter, and vocalist who has played a pivotal role in shaping Queen’s sound. In addition to his dynamic drumming and impressive falsetto harmonies, Taylor penned memorable hits like “Radio Ga Ga” and “A Kind of Magic.”

Known for his versatility, he played multiple instruments and engaged in solo projects, releasing albums such as Fun in Space and Strange Frontier. Taylor’s creativity extended to forming his own band, The Cross, while continuing to push musical boundaries with Queen.

A steadfast performer, he remains a driving force in Queen + Adam Lambert, carrying the band’s legacy forward with boundless energy.
