Andrew Williams is a talented singer-songwriter and one-half of the musical duo The Williams Brothers, alongside his twin brother David Williams. Born on February 22, 1959, Andrew and David first gained public attention as guests on their uncle Andy Williams’ TV show in the early 1970s. Their appearances led to a surge in popularity, with the brothers becoming teen idols and releasing albums such as Meet Andy and David Williams and One More Time during their early career.
As adults, Andrew and David re-emerged on the pop scene, signing with Warner Brothers Records and releasing several albums, including Two Stories and Harmony Hotel. Their self-titled album, The Williams Brothers (1991), featured the track The Big Machine, which Andrew co-wrote. The album was co-produced by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, whose innovative production added depth and texture to the brothers’ music.
