A.R. Rahman
Global music innovator and composer

A.R. Rahman collaborated with Dave Stewart as part of the supergroup SuperHeavy, which also included Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, and Damian Marley. The group was formed in 2009, with the aim of blending diverse musical styles such as reggae, Indian music, and rock. Their self-titled debut album, SuperHeavy, was released in 2011 and featured tracks like “Miracle Worker” and “Satyameva Jayathe,” the latter showcasing Rahman’s signature Indian influences. The project was a unique experiment in cross-genre collaboration, highlighting the creative synergy between its members.
