Minor Soul is an acoustic-pop duo formed by brothers Jack and Max Wagner, born in London to English and American parents and raised in Hong Kong. Their music blends classic influences like Simon & Garfunkel and The Beatles with contemporary sounds from artists such as Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. Discovered by Dave Stewart after uploading early demos to YouTube, the duo were invited to Los Angeles in 2011 to collaborate and record. Stewart produced several of their tracks and helped shape their early sound, introducing them to artists like Joss Stone and Orianthi.
Their debut single “Beneath My Skin” was released in 2013, followed by the albums Home Is Where You Are and Tiger, which showcased their lyrical depth and melodic sensibility. Songs like “Charlie Chaplin” and “Babylon” earned praise for their emotional honesty and acoustic charm.
