His 2022 single Face to Face, co-written with Stevie Nicks, Serhii Babkin, and Boris Grebenshchikov, was released in support of Ukraine through the Collaborate For Peace initiative. In 2007, he led the all-star anthem Go Green for Greenpeace, featuring artists like Annie, Bonnie Raitt, Jeff Beck, and Imogen Heap. Dave also co-created I Take the Vow with Deepak Chopra, a musical pledge of nonviolence tied to the Alliance for a New Humanity campaign. His 2010 track Stand Up to Cancer, performed with Joss Stone and Ann Marie Calhoun, became the official anthem for the global cancer research movement. And back in 1993, he produced a heartfelt cover of All You Need Is Love with Tom Jones, benefiting ChildLine UK.
