Annie, you’ve been such an important part of my life for so long, in fact since I was 13 and the Revenge Tour came to New Zealand in January 1987. Your music has seen me through some of my darkest, and happiest, times over the years. And your activism and commitment to making this world a better place is an inspiration. I want to wish you a very happy birthday and thank you for all that you’ve done and continue to do. Have a wonderful day on Wednesday.
