Been a HUGE fan of Annie for 41 years. And I met her at Westminster Abbey with the late Queen!

Meeting a lifelong hero and finding they exceed your expectations is rare. This happened in 2011, when I met Annie. Her music, from Eurythmics to her solo work, has shaped my life since I first heard Love Is a Stranger in '83. At Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day, where she spoke before the late Queen, I saw her and called out to her. She kindly stopped and we briefly chatted. After the service, we met again, and I expressed my gratitude for her profound impact on my life. Happy Birthday!!!
