Annie Lennox Live In Central Park arrives on vinyl for the first time for Record Store Day 2026

Record Store Day 2026 brings a real treat for Annie’s fans with the first ever vinyl release of Live In Central Park. The event takes place on 18 April and features more than 540 exclusive titles, reflecting a continuing surge in UK vinyl sales.

The Central Park performance, recorded on 8 September 1995 at Summerstage, remains one of the strongest and most loved shows of Annie’s solo career. The setlist drew deeply from Diva and Medusa, blending her own songwriting with the distinctive covers that defined the Medusa era. Fans heard powerful renditions of Money Can't Buy It, Walking On Broken Glass, Why, and moving interpretations of No More I Love You’s and A Whiter Shade of Pale.  The album will be release as a double Red Opaque Colour LP Vinyl.

This concert has long been considered a milestone because it captured Annie at a moment of creative clarity. The Medusa material added emotional depth to the show and helped shape her identity as a solo performer, separate from her earlier success. The vinyl format gives the music more space and warmth, making this release especially meaningful for those who want to experience the concert as fully as possible.

Until now, Live In Central Park was mainly available in video based formats, so its arrival on vinyl is a long awaited addition for collectors.

It feels fitting to celebrate this release. It brings together the intimacy of the Medusa period and the energy of a landmark live show, finally preserved in a format that does it justice. Annie’s Central Park performance deserves this renewed attention and Record Store Day 2026 is the perfect moment for it.
