Eurythmics Shimmer On New Silver Vinyl Edition of It’s Alright (Baby’s Coming Back) on NOW – Yearbook 1985 to 1989: The Final Chapter
The new NOW – Yearbook 1985 to 1989: The Final Chapter lands on 13 February 2026, pressed across three silver vinyl LPs and packaged with a numbered art card. It celebrates songs that shaped the latter half of the decade, and it is great to see Eurythmics included with their elegant single It’s Alright (Baby’s Coming Back).
Originally issued at the very end of 1985, the track became Eurythmics’ tenth UK Top 20 single and peaked at number 12 in January 1986. It also charted in the United States where it reached number 78. Its appearance here places it alongside some of the decade’s most recognisable names, many of whom were sharing the charts with Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart at the time.
On the first LP, Eurythmics sit directly after Pet Shop Boys with their number one debut West End Girls and just before UB40, Go West, Living In A Box and Level 42. These tracks help set the tone for a varied mix of synth pop, soul infused pop and radio ready hits that defined the mid eighties.
The Yearbook spans a wide range of styles and artists across all three records. There are moments of featherlight pop, deeper shades of alternative music and powerful chart ballads. This collection works as both a nostalgia trip and a reminder of how rich the charts were between 1985 and 1989.
Highlights From The Wider Tracklist

A powerful closing track that adds real vocal drama to the final side.
