Peace One Day concert has evolved from a live show at Wembley to The World’s Largest Online Festival For Peace
On 21st September, Peace One Day will transform Peace Day into the World’s Largest Online Festival for Peace, streaming live from its studios to a global audience. This bold move marks a new chapter for the organisation, expanding its reach and impact far beyond the walls of any venue.
Originally planned as a live celebration at the OVO Arena Wembley, the event has evolved into a fully digital experience — a decision driven by the desire to reach more people, raise awareness, and inspire action for peace across the world.
Founder Jeremy Gilley shared, “Peace Day is the day where more people think about peace than any other day of the year. It is also the day with the greatest reduction of violence. This global transmission is key to that success.”
A Broadcast of Hope
In a time when conflict affects over two billion people worldwide, Peace One Day’s digital broadcast offers a message of unity and hope. Featuring world-class musical performances, powerful speeches, and contributions from peacebuilders and global leaders, the event will be streamed to millions — inviting everyone to take part, wherever they are.
A Fresh Line-Up of Global Talent
The move online brings exciting updates to the lineup. Joining the broadcast is Boris Grebenshikov, a long-time friend and collaborator of Dave Stewart, whose music and message have long championed peace and cultural connection.
Also appearing are rising stars Jack and Daisy, recently signed to Dave’s Bay Street Records. Their debut EP Barcelona (Through The Rear View) has already captured attention, and their performance at Peace One Day marks a significant moment in their journey — blending fresh talent with the event’s powerful message.
Peace One Day Ambassador Dave Stewart said, “Never before has our world been in a more urgent need for peace. The Peace One Day celebration will bring music artists and thought leaders from across the globe together, on a mission to stand together as one, irrespective of your political views or religious creed.”
Join the Movement
Peace One Day extends its thanks to OVO Arena Wembley and Kilimanjaro Live for their support during this transition. The digital broadcast is not just a change of format — it’s a step forward, opening the door to millions more voices, stories, and actions.
Tune in live on 21 September and be part of a global moment of connection, reflection, and unity.
