Further to the exciting announcement of Dave Stewart's latest album Dave Does Dylan, which is set to be released as a limited-edition vinyl for Record Store Day on 12th April, the multifaceted Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has also revealed plans for a special recording session in Nashville. This album, a heartfelt homage to Bob Dylan, will be available at independent record stores on Saturday, April 12, under Surfdog Records.

Dave Stewart, celebrated for his work as co-founder of Eurythmics and for his prolific career as a songwriter and producer, imbues Dave Does Dylan with a raw, unfiltered energy. The album consists of 14 tracks, all recorded in a single take, showcasing Stewart's vocal and guitar prowess. The spirit of the album is built on live, unedited takes, capturing the essence of Dylan's songs in a way only Stewart can.

Adding to the excitement, Dave Stewart will also be taping an episode of the acclaimed programme Recorded Live at Analog on March 22. This special event will take place at Analog, located inside the prestigious Hutton Hotel in Nashville. During this intimate performance, Stewart will deliver songs from Dave Does Dylan, enhanced by the rich sounds of strings, pedal steel guitar, and keys.
