BBC Radio Scotland joined in the celebrations for Annie Lennox’s 70th Birthday with a 2 hour long show hosted by Grant Scott and featured over 30 The Catch, The Tourists, Eurythmics and Annie Solo tracks
Grant Stott celebrated the 70th birthday of Annie Lennox, Scotland’s most successful female artist with a 2 hour long feature show on BBC Radio Scotland called Annie Lennox: Who’s That Girl? Annie Lennox was born on 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen and the show featured archive interviews and songs from her back catalogue, including The Catch, The Tourists, Eurythmics, Annie’s solo albums and several of her collaborations. What was nice to hear in this feature were some of Annie’s deeper cuts, or lesser remembered songs and they didn’t just go for all the obvious songs.
The show is available for 30 days on the BBC website, click the link below.
