Have you got your tickets for “Night Of The Proms” concerts in Antwerp in November with Dave Stewart, Shaggy, Emile Sande and Louis Philippson?
This year’s 38th edition of Night of the Proms brings an unforgettable line-up to the Sportpaleis! Get ready for the iconic beats of Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, the summery vibes of reggae star Shaggy, the mesmerizing sounds of piano virtuoso Louis Philippson and the Flemish charm of singer and presenter Niels Destadsbader. And that’s just the beginning. More artists will be announced soon.
Dave Stewart is a living legend. With his Eurythmics repertoire he brings their greatest hits to the Antwerp Sportpaleis. He brings along top voice Vanessa Amorosi to perform some classics such as ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘Here Comes The Rain Again’, ‘When Tomorrow Comes’ and ‘There Must Be An Angel’.
None other than Shaggy is also on the bill this year. With hits like ‘Boombastic’, ‘It Wasn’t Me’, ‘Angel’, ‘Hey Sexy Lady’ and ‘I Need Your Love’, a party is guaranteed. In addition to his own successes, Shaggy has also collaborated with numerous other major artists, including Sting, Janet Jackson, Ali G, and Karol G.
Singer, actor and television presenter Niels Destadsbader will be the presenter at this year’s Night of the Proms. His musical career took off when he released his first album in 2016. Hits such as ‘Speeltijd’, ‘Verconquer mij’ and ‘De wereld draait voor jou’ make him a fixture in the Flemish music world.
The 19-year-old German pianist Louis Philippson is a TikTok phenomenon who playfully brings classical music to a wide audience. His talent was discovered when he was 7, which earned him a place at the prestigious Robert Schumann Musik Hochschule in Düsseldorf. Inspired by composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, he combines classical melodies with modern pop and soundtracks.
On Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 November 2024, Night of the Proms will present Eurythmics (Dave Stewart), Shaggy, Louis Philippson (piano) and singer/presenter Niels Destadsbader, among others.
