Daryl Hall's upcoming sixth solo album, set to be released on June 21st, is another collaboration with Dave Stewart. Dave Stewart not only co-produced the album but also co-wrote seven out of the nine original songs on the tracklist, while Hall penned the remaining two.

The video for the album's first single has already been released, and fans can check out the complete track listing below. Preorders for the album are currently available. This project marks Stewart's return as a collaborator with Hall, having previously co-produced Hall's 1986 solo album "Three Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine" and co-written four songs for that record.

In an official statement, Hall shared his thoughts on the album, stating, "This album is about getting to my core." He expressed that the aim of this project, titled "D," was to strip things down to authenticity, embrace a sense of enjoyment, tropical reverie, and reignite a musical bond with a dear friend.

He has also spoke to Variety about working with Dave Stewart
"Dave has been my shadow partner since 1984,” Hall says. “We’re best friends. This was a real duo album, two people coming together, understanding one another and writing songs — most of them were written on the spot. I had ideas and Dave enhanced them. It’s a real 50-50 project. Dave and I have a real partnership and have had for a long time.”

Today the first single "Can't Say No to You" has been released, along with a video taken from the recording sessions which also features Dave Stewart.

"D" represents Daryl's first full-length album since 2011's "Laughing Down Crying." In the interim, he released "BeforeAfter" in 2022, a comprehensive 30-song collection of his solo work spanning back to his 1980 debut "Sacred Songs," produced by Robert Fripp.

Recorded and mixed at Dave Stewart's Stardust Studios in Harbour Island, Bahamas, "D" will also feature exclusive vinyl variants. Fans can expect silver vinyl editions at independent record stores and turquoise vinyl editions at Barnes & Noble.
