Dave Stewart and Daryl Hall’s Collaboration on Glen Cambell’s album Duets – Ghost On The Canvas Sessions is out now

The Glen Campbell Duets: Ghost on the Canvas Sessions is out now on the Big Machine Label Group. The album is a reworking of Glen Campbell’s 2011 album Ghost on the Canvas reimagines Campbell’s critically acclaimed, history-making 2011 farewell album with some of the biggest icons in music including Dave Stewart and Daryl Hall performing It’s Your Amazing Grace

Each track features newly recorded guest vocals from a long list of Campbell’s musical peers and personal friends.

Daryl Hall and Dave Stewart have both written about being asked to take part in the project :

“I’ve always been a gigantic fan of Glen Campbell’s voice and guitar playing, so I was really honored to be asked to sing on what turned out to be a duet with the late, great Glen.” – Daryl Hall

“When Dave Kaplan called and asked me to produce ‘It’s Your Amazing Grace’ with Daryl as duet vocalist, the first thing I wanted to do was to solo Glen’s angelic and powerful voice, and then couple that with Daryl’s vocals (one of my favorite singers ever). From there I added as little as possible, with my 12-string acoustic and other minimal touches, to allow the two legends to brightly shine.” –  Dave Stewart
