Chancellor Annie Lennox speaks to the students of Glasgow Caledonian University as the class of 2021 graduates

Annie Lennox, Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University has presented in 2 videos for the Class of 2021 who have graduated.

In the first video, a selection of faculty staff each give their piece of advice to the graduates, Annie’s is very much about taking a moment, taking a breath when dealing with a stressful situation.

The second is Annie’s main Chancellors speech that would normally have been given at the graduation ceremony in London.  Annie’s speech is about success, impriving the world, and encouraging students to influence and contribute and to change the world. She ends with a message to Thrive, and to live your life to the best of your abilities, and ends with a virtual doff turnign the students into a graduate.

Annie was made a chancellor in 2018 where she told the audience that she did not have a degree but she was “an honorary graduate from the school of life”.
