French entrepreneur Max Guazzini auctioned of his collection of gold discs last week from his personal collection. Over 200 awards were sold with a starting bid of just 150 Euros.
One of the discs sold was a Eurythmics disc for Savage which sold for 1300 Euros on the night.
All the profits made from this auction will be entirely donated to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, which has been working for the protection of animals since 1992.
Annie Lennox also has the same unique gold disc and is featured in her current exhibition at MassMoca, you can see it hanging on the left hand side.
