The rumours over the last few days are now confirmed. Eurythmics will be playing together again on December 9th in new York at The Beacon Theatre. The event is the 30th anniversary of The Rainforest Fund, and is billed as Sting & Friends, We’ll Be Together.
It looks like MTV will be filming the event, which features artists including Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Bob Geldof and Ricky Martin. The event will be hosted by Robert Downey Junior.
Tickets are currently available by sending an email to rainforst@eventassociates.com, priced at $1000. Further tickets will go on sale on 1st November via Ticketmaster priced between $247 and $586.
