According to reviews overnight Annie Lennox performed 4 songs last night in Los Angeles for the Television Critics Association 2015 Press Tour.

The Langham Hotel & Spa in Pasadena, Calif., won’t be able to host the Television Critics Association Press Tour — or anything else, for that matter — because Annie Lennox obliterated the place. The legendary singer and musician of The Eurythmics fame performed for TV critics and PBS guests a scorching four-song set of classic jazz and blues standards — “Summertime,” “I Put a Spell on You,” “God Bless the Child” and “Georgia on My Mind” — from her album Nostalgia. Lennox then took questions from reporters gathered, discussing her approach to covering these longtime favorites, her love of Motown in her youth, the influence of her Scottish roots and much more. Lennox will perform a concert in Los Angeles later this month, and PBS viewers will be able to watch it in Annie Great Performances: Lennox: Nostalgia Live in Concert on April 3.

Twitter was full of praise as well:

“A treat to hear Annie Lennox sing her jazz bits”

“I Put a Spell On You. Oh. My. Heaven. Don’t miss her @GPerfPBS come April. Cause – wow”

“Had the great pleasure of hearing Annie Lennox sing tonight at the TCA convention in Pasadena. Such a miraculous voice. What a gift.”

“Yup, that’s @AnnieLennox putting a spell of “Nostalgia” on the #TCA15 in Pasadena tonight. I nearly plotzed. Twice. ”
