Annie’s certainly found a new head dress for this video! This certainly looked like one fun video shoot to be part of!

After a four-year hiatus, Annie Lennox returns with her seventh studio album, Nostalgia.

Nostalgia, the follow-up to 2010’s A Christmas Cornucopia, sees the singer-songwriter take on the Great American Songbook with impassioned takes on songs made famous by Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Jo Stafford and Louis Armstrong.

To celebrate the release of the album, Lennox premieres the video for her rendition of Duke Ellington’s jazz composition Moon Indigo on Telegraph.co.uk.

Discussing the song, Lennox says: “Mood Indigo leads us out of the journey of Nostalgia, as an homage to the world of Blues and all those who’ve ever been inhabited by ecstasy and pain, or found solace in the sweet triumphant melancholy of minor thirds.”
