Annie Lennox Radio 5 Up All NightFrom BBC Radio 5 Live

Singer songwriter Annie Lennox has been speaking at the Aspen Ideas festival in Colorado about mother to child HIV transmission.

The former Eurythmics star argues that many mothers are unaware that treatment is available to them, which can prevent their children from being born with the disease.

Annie told BBC Radio 5 live’s Up All Night that she wants to see “a new generation of children growing up virus free, and the mother being able to live to take care of that child… something which should be a fundamental human right.”
