SWEDISH House Mafia’s Steve Angello is one of the world’s biggest dance music stars but he has yet to fulfill his lifelong ambition – to work with Scots diva Annie Lennox.

Steve, who released a remix of Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams in 2004, told the Razz: “I think Annie Lennox is one of the most amazing female artists ever and what she did with Sweet Dreams with the melodies was incredible.

“Out of anyone in the world, I would still love to work with Annie Lennox any day of the week.

“I told her that once but back then I wasn’t that big. I’d love to ask her again.”

When it comes to DJs, you don’t get much bigger than Steve.

As well as producing club anthems under his own name and monikers like Who’s Who, Buy Now, Fireflies, General Moders, Mode Hookers, Outfunk and The Sinners, he rose to massive acclaim with his works alongside Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell as Swedish House Mafia.

They produced massive hits including Save the World, Antidote, Greyhound, One and Miami 2 Ibiza.

The combo announced their split in June this year following a final tour and Steve says they decided to call it quits before they got bored.
