Happy 1st Birthday To Ghost The Musical

1 year ago today, the Opera House Manchester hosted a World Premiere of a brand new musical based on the Oscar winning 1990 movie Ghost. Written by the original writer Bruce Joel Rubin the show was probably the most eagerly awaited new musical of the 21st century to date. With Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard providing the score and world renowned illusionist Paul Kieve bringing the special effects from the movie to life on the live stage the show certainly had a lot to live up to.

Now 12 months on following a sell out run in Manchester, over 300 performances in London’s West End and the show currently in previews over on Broadway, Ghost the Musical is an international smash hit.

Over 400,000 ‘believers’ have so far witnessed this emotionally charged show and with confirmed future productions opening in Australia and The Netherlands in 2013 the success of the show is a testament to each and every cast member, crew and creative who have been involved with Ghost in the past 12 months.

All at eurythmics-ultimate.com would like to wish Ghost the Musical a very happy 1st birthday and we look forward to the next 12 months and future productions opening up cementing this show as one of the most successful pieces of musical theatre not only this decade but this century.
