If you happen to be a lucky soul who is traveling to London in the next few months, I am beyond jealous.

Promise me you’ll visit the Victoria and Albert Museum to see The House Of Annie Lennox exhibition where the style icon’s costumes, photographs and personal memorabilia are all on display.

Annie Lennox was, of course, the unforgettable half of the ’80s synth-pop/rock/soul duo Eurythmics.

Their first major hit “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” featured a strong, dark bass line and Annie’s distinctive contralto vocals. Stylish and startling, the accompanying video on MTV introduced us to an androgynous yet sexy Annie sporting a suit and tie, electric orange buzz cut, piercing blue eyes, smooth pale skin and dramatic make-up.

Experimenting with her gender-bending image quickly became Annie’s calling card. Her personas have included everyone from Elvis to an angel with pastel lips and soft ringlets. Even the titles of her successful solo albums “Diva,” “Medusa,” and “Bare” reflect her shape-shifting ways.

Go for the unexpected à la Annie Lennox by rocking this Dolce & Gabbana pant suit, this Lover / Performance Blouse, and a pair of McQ pumps.

You’ll have all the Londoners wondering “Who’s That Girl?”
