This weeks record of the week is the promotional single for Nadirah X’s track she released in November.  Nadirah X is part of The Factory Girls at Dave Stewart’s Weapons Of Mass Entertainment.  The track samples heavily from the Eurythmics classic Here Comes The Rain again, Dave Stewart commented on allowing the sample:

“Annie and I don’t approve many samples of our music, especially songs like Here Comes The Rain Again, but Nadirah X is an amazing artists with integrity.  All the righteous ideas in her lyrics work with our song. We both love here.”

So here’s the scans of the promo CD, you can buy her album Ink now on most online retailers, and the great news for Nadirah is that the single is currently in the top 25 in Poland, having made it to No. 13 on the most played songs just a couple of weeks before.
