A one off photograph of the legendary Annie Lennox, taken by renowned singer songwriter Bryan Adams has been sold on eBay in aid of The Prince’s Trust for over £1100.

You will be bidding on a photograph of fellow singer songwriter Annie Lennox, one of the world’s most outstanding music vocalists. The photograph has been personally signed by both Bryan and Annie. This photograph was commissioned as part of exhibition in 2008 called Brilliant Women: 18th-Century Bluestockings and adorned the walls of the National Portrait Gallery. Twenty-one subjects were chosen as a selection of outstanding women from different fields of achievement including the arts, charities and business photographed at differing points in their careers. The photograph is mounted on a very large thin metal sheet, measuring 160 x 120cm.

Bryan Adams career has spanned over three decades, through which he has sold in the region of 65 million records including Summer of ‘69 and the universal number one (Everything I Do) I Do It For You. He was awarded the Order of Canada in 1990 for his contribution to popular music and his charitable work. Bryan’s other passion is photography, firmly establishing himself as a well respected artist and photographing for world renowned publications such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

Youth charity The Prince’s Trust helps change young lives in the UK. It gives practical and financial support, developing skills such as confidence and motivation. It works with 14-30 year olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. There are one million young people not in education, employment or training in the UK who need our help. The Prince’s Trust needs 1million a week to continue its vital work.
